Responsibilities

  • Prepare and cook menu items with precision, ensuring consistency and presentation standards are met.
  • Assist in the development and execution of innovative dishes, maintaining high culinary standards.
  • Maintain cleanliness and organization of your designated station, adhering to food safety regulations at all times.
  • Collaborate with team members to ensure smooth kitchen operations during service hours.
  • Monitor inventory levels of ingredients and communicate needs for replenishment to ensure seamless meal preparation.
  • Follow all safety procedures and hygiene practices to uphold a safe working environment.
  • Support other kitchen staff and running the kitchen solo on quieter days as needed during busy periods or special events, fostering a cooperative team atmosphere.

Qualifications

  • Proven experience in food preparation and cooking within a professional kitchen setting.
  • Strong knowledge of culinary techniques, meal preparation, and food safety standards.
  • Previous restaurant experience demonstrating ability to work efficiently under pressure.
  • Excellent skills in food presentation and attention to detail.
  • Ability to work flexible hours, including evenings, weekends, and holidays as required.
  • Good communication skills and a positive attitude that promotes teamwork.
  • Prior experience serving guests or customers is a plus but not mandatory.
