Restaurant Manager – Crockers Tring

Location: Tring, HertfordshireSalary: £30,000–£35,000 per year, with earning potential up to £45,000 including gratuities

Job Type: Full-time, Permanent

We're looking for an exceptional Restaurant Manager to lead the front-of-house team at Crockers Tring, an independently owned restaurant featured in the Michelin Guide and awarded 3 AA Rosettes.

This is an exciting opportunity for an experienced hospitality professional who is passionate about delivering outstanding guest experiences and leading a motivated team in a high-quality dining environment.

What we offer

  • Salary of £30,000–£35,000, depending on experience.
  • Realistic earnings of up to £45,000 per year including gratuities.
  • Four-day working week.
  • Christmas Eve and Christmas Day off.
  • Regular days off every Sunday and Monday, plus one additional day each week.

The role

As Restaurant Manager, you will:

  • Lead and inspire the front-of-house team to deliver exceptional service.
  • Ensure every guest enjoys the ultimate dining experience.
  • Oversee daily restaurant operations and maintain the highest service standards.
  • Manage reservations, staffing levels and service flow.
  • Train, mentor and develop the team.
  • Work closely with the kitchen to ensure seamless communication and service.

About you

We're looking for someone who:

  • Has a strong understanding of food, wine and premium service (essential).
  • Has previous experience as a Restaurant Manager or Assistant Restaurant Manager in a similar standard of restaurant.
  • Is a confident, hands on, and motivating leader.
  • Has excellent communication and organisational skills.
  • Is passionate about hospitality and creating memorable guest experiences.
  • Has a strong understanding of food, wine and premium service (essential).
