Job Summary
We are seeking a skilled and charismatic Bartender to join our team in venues across Birmingham. As a Bartender, you will play a pivotal role in creating a welcoming atmosphere and delivering high-quality beverages to our patrons. The ideal candidate will have a passion for mixology, excellent customer service skills, and the ability to thrive in a fast-paced environment.

Responsibilities

  • Prepare and serve alcoholic and non-alcoholic beverages to customers in a timely manner.
  • Maintain cleanliness and organisation of the bar area, ensuring all equipment is clean and well-maintained.
  • Engage with customers, providing recommendations and taking orders efficiently.
  • Ensure compliance with food safety regulations and responsible serving practices.
  • Handle cash transactions accurately, utilising basic math skills for processing payments.
  • Collaborate with kitchen staff to ensure smooth service during busy periods.
  • Manage time effectively to balance multiple tasks during peak hours.
  • Monitor customer behaviour and respond appropriately to ensure a safe environment.

Qualifications

  • Previous experience in a restaurant or bar setting is preferred, showcasing strong hospitality skills.
  • Knowledge of food safety practices is essential for maintaining health standards.
  • Excellent time management skills to handle busy shifts efficiently.
  • Basic math skills are necessary for processing orders and payments accurately.
  • Strong interpersonal skills to foster positive relationships with customers and team members.
