Duties

• Assist in the preparation and cutting of various meats according to established standards and customer specifications
• Maintain cleanliness and organization of the butchery workspace, adhering to strict food safety protocols
• Support inventory management by receiving deliveries, checking quality, and rotating stock appropriately
• Help prepare meat products for display, ensuring attractive presentation that entices customers
• Follow all food safety guidelines to prevent contamination and ensure compliance with health regulations
• Collaborate with team members to fulfill customer orders efficiently and accurately
• Maintain equipment hygiene by cleaning knives, saws, and other tools regularly

Skills

• Experience in food production or culinary environments, with a strong interest in butchery and food preparation
• Knowledge of food safety standards and best practices in handling perishable goods
• Hands-on experience with restaurant or kitchen operations is highly desirable
• Ability to work efficiently in a fast-paced environment while maintaining attention to detail
