Overview

4 day working weeks. 4 x 12 hour shifts starting from 10am. Open 7 days a week. Full team of working professionals.

We are seeking a passionate and skilled Pizza Chef to join our vibrant culinary team. The ideal candidate will have a strong background in food preparation and cooking, with a particular focus on pizza making. This role offers an exciting opportunity to craft delicious, high-quality pizzas in a fast-paced restaurant environment, ensuring exceptional customer satisfaction. The successful applicant will be committed to maintaining high standards of food safety and hygiene while delivering outstanding meal experiences.

Duties

  • Prepare and cook a variety of pizzas according to established recipes and customer preferences
  • Assist in the preparation of ingredients, including dough, sauces, and toppings
  • Ensure all food is prepared in accordance with food safety standards and hygiene regulations
  • Operate kitchen equipment safely and efficiently during food preparation
  • Maintain cleanliness and organisation of the kitchen area at all times
  • Collaborate with team members to ensure timely delivery of orders during busy periods
  • Monitor stock levels and notify management when supplies need replenishing
  • Contribute to menu development by suggesting new pizza varieties or enhancements

Skills

  • Proven experience in food preparation and cooking, preferably within a restaurant or hospitality setting
  • Strong knowledge of culinary techniques related to pizza making and meal preparation
  • Familiarity with food safety standards and hygiene practices within a commercial kitchen environment
  • Excellent organisational skills with the ability to work efficiently under pressure
  • Good communication skills to work effectively as part of a team
  • Previous restaurant experience or serving background is advantageous but not essential for entry-level applicants
