Senior Waiter/Waitress

Purchases Bar and Restaurant, Chichester- www.purchasesrestaurant.co.uk

Purchases is a family run, independent Restaurant and Bar located on the High Street of Chichester. We offer a well varied fine dining menu that consists of locally sourced produce and ingredients.

We are looking for an enthusiastic and passionate Waiter/Waitress to join our team at Purchases Bar and Restaurant. The ideal candidate is someone that has no other job/ eductional commitment and sees hospitality as a career. We are also looking for someone that can commit to working until at least the start of 2027, as we plan to create a great team of staff to work throughout the summer and winter months.

You will be required to work along side our General Manager and his Front of House Team to deliver the best customer service and dining experience in Chichester.

Responsibilities:

-Greet and seat guests in a friendly and efficient manner
-Ensure you are following our 'Order of Service'
- Deliver orders to tables and ensure proper presentation
- Provide recommendations on menu items and answer any questions
- Monitor guest satisfaction and address any concerns or issues
- Process payments
- Maintain cleanliness and organization of the dining area and bar area

Requirements:
- Previous experience in a similar role
- Excellent time management
- Strong communication skills to interact with guests and team members
- Ability to work in a fast-paced environment while maintaining attention to detail
- Must be able to work evenings, weekends, and holidays as needed

Pay: £10.00-£12.25 per hour

Expected hours: 25.0 – 40.0 per week
