About us

Updown is a magical farmstead with acres of beautiful garden and woodland situated just outside Deal, Kent.

We’re looking for an experienced front of house team-member to join us in delivering a friendly, intimate service with a keen attention to quality and detail at this exciting juncture.

The right candidate will be experienced in working to very high standard, have a strong appreciation for F&B, be reliable & have a positive mind-set.

Personality and professionalism is something we welcome and encourage and we’re looking forward to welcoming new staff members who enjoy working in a small & friendly team that champion the produce they serve and the atmosphere they create.

Main responsibilities:

- Playing a key role in delivering exceptional & authentic guest experience

- Taking food and beverage orders

- Tending to needs of service

- Be adept at answering customer queries & requests

- Clearing and cleaning tables

- Setting up and closing down before and after service

- Have a base knowledge of Food and Beverages

- Understanding and being mindful of food safety and hygiene
