THIS IS A FULL TIME ROLE AND WILL INCLUDE WORKING EVENINGS AND WEEKENDS

We are seeking an energetic and personable Bartender to join our busy pub. In this role, you will craft and serve a variety of beverages, create a welcoming atmosphere for guests, and ensure an exceptional experience from the moment they walk through the door. Your enthusiasm, attention to detail, and ability to manage multiple tasks efficiently will contribute to the lively environment that keeps our guests coming back. This paid position offers an exciting opportunity to showcase your hospitality skills while working in a dynamic setting.

Responsibilities

  • Cellar management - knowledge of how to maintain ales is a must
  • Prepare and serve a wide range of alcoholic and non-alcoholic beverages with precision and flair
  • Engage with guests in a friendly, professional manner to enhance their overall experience
  • Maintain cleanliness and organization of the bar area in accordance with food safety standards
  • Manage cash register transactions accurately and handle payments efficiently
  • Restock bar supplies as needed and keep inventory records up-to-date
  • Collaborate with team members to deliver smooth service during busy hours and special events

Requirements

  • Proven experience in bartending or serving within a restaurant or hospitality environment (minimum 3 years)
  • Strong knowledge of bartending techniques, drink recipes, and food safety regulations
  • Excellent communication skills and a welcoming attitude toward guests
  • Ability to perform basic math for handling transactions and measuring ingredients
  • Effective time management skills to prioritize tasks during high-volume periods
  • Familiarity with hospitality standards, including responsible alcohol service and customer service excellence

Pay: £12.71-£13.50 per hour

Expected hours: 38.0 – 45.0 per week
