Overview
We are seeking a dedicated and skilled Line Cook to join our culinary team. The ideal candidate will possess a passion for food preparation and cooking, with a strong commitment to maintaining high standards of food safety and quality. As a Line Cook, you will play a vital role in ensuring that our kitchen operates smoothly and efficiently, contributing to the overall dining experience of our guests.

Duties

  • Prepare and cook menu items according to established recipes and standards.
  • Ensure all food is prepared in a timely manner, maintaining consistency in taste and presentation.
  • Assist in the organisation and cleanliness of the kitchen, including proper storage of food items.
  • Adhere to food safety regulations and maintain a clean working environment at all times.
  • Collaborate with other kitchen staff to ensure efficient meal preparation and service.
  • Monitor inventory levels and assist with ordering supplies as needed.
  • Participate in training new kitchen staff as required.

Qualifications

  • Previous experience in a kitchen environment is essential; restaurant experience is highly desirable.
  • Strong culinary skills with a focus on food preparation and cooking techniques.
  • Knowledge of food safety practices and regulations.
