Job Overview

We are seeking an energetic and experienced Senior Bar Person to lead our bar team and deliver exceptional service to our guests. In this dynamic role, you will be responsible for creating a lively, welcoming atmosphere while ensuring the highest standards of hospitality, and drink quality. Your expertise in bartending, serving, and managing bar operations will help elevate the customer experience and maintain a vibrant social environment. This position offers an exciting opportunity for someone passionate about hospitality and skilled in managing busy bar settings with confidence and professionalism.

Duties

  • Prepare and serve a wide variety of alcoholic and non-alcoholic beverages with precision and flair, ensuring consistency and quality.
  • Lead the bar team by example, providing guidance on drink preparation, customer service, and efficient workflow management.
  • Maintain strict adherence to health regulations, and responsible alcohol service policies.
  • Manage stock levels, order supplies, and ensure the bar is well-stocked at all times to meet customer demand.
  • Engage with guests in a friendly manner, taking orders accurately and delivering prompt service to enhance their experience.
  • Oversee cash handling procedures, process payments accurately.
  • Keep the bar area clean, organized, and compliant with safety standards to promote a safe working environment for all staff.

Experience

  • Proven experience in hospitality environments with a strong background in bartending and serving roles.
  • Demonstrated knowledge of food safety practices and responsible alcohol service regulations.
  • Excellent time management skills to handle high-volume periods efficiently while maintaining quality service.
  • Strong communication skills to lead a team effectively and interact positively with guests.
  • Basic math skills for cash handling, inventory management, and order calculations.
  • Previous restaurant or bar experience is highly desirable to ensure familiarity with industry standards.
  • Ability to stay energetic, motivated, and organized in a fast-paced setting while maintaining attention to detail.
