Full job description

Overview
We are seeking enthusiastic and dedicated Front of House Staff to join our team. In this role, you will be the face of our establishment, ensuring that every guest receives exceptional service and a memorable experience. Your responsibilities will encompass various aspects of guest interaction and maintaining a welcoming atmosphere. If you have a passion for hospitality and enjoy working in a dynamic environment, we would love to hear from you.

Duties

  • Greet guests warmly upon arrival and assist them with seating arrangements.
  • Provide excellent guest services by addressing inquiries and ensuring satisfaction throughout their visit.
  • Upsell menu items and specials to enhance the dining experience for guests.
  • Maintain cleanliness and organisation of the front of house area, including dining tables and waiting areas.
  • Manage time effectively to ensure smooth operations during busy periods.
  • Handle payments and maintain accurate records of transactions.
  • Help adhere with room requirements as per guests requests
  • Suitably follow any instruction given by the Front of House Manager

Qualifications

  • Previous experience in a restaurant or hospitality setting is preferred but not essential.
  • Excellent communication skills with a friendly disposition towards guests.
  • Ability to work well under pressure in a fast-paced environment.
  • Time management skills to efficiently handle multiple tasks simultaneously.
  • A willingness to learn and adapt within a team-oriented atmosphere.
  • A passion for providing outstanding guest services that create lasting impressions.

Job Type: Part-time

Pay: £8.50-£12.50 per hour

Expected hours: 8 – 20 per week
