Full job description

We require an experienced and dynamic Manager to oversee daily operations within our well respected 16th Century pub & restaurant. The successful candidate will be responsible for supervising front-of-house staff, ensuring exceptional customer service, and maintaining high standards of food safety and cleanliness. This role offers an excellent opportunity for individuals with a passion for hospitality and team management. Located between Ledbury and Bromyard.

Responsibilities

  • Manage the cellar, maintaining a highly efficient procedure
  • Supervise and coordinate front-of-house team staff
  • Assist in training new staff on service procedures
  • Manage reservations
  • Ensure compliance with health and safety regulations across all front-of-house activities
  • Be well presented & maintain a high level of customer service
  • Support the kitchen team, ensuring timely delivery of orders to clients
  • Maintain cleanliness and organisation of the front-of-house area in accordance with hygiene standards

Skills

  • Minimum 3 years proven supervising experience within a bar/restaurant
  • Strong ICT Skills
  • Strong team management and leadership abilities
  • Excellent communication skills with a friendly and professional demeanour
  • Knowledge of food preparation, cooking, and food safety standards
  • Organisational skills to manage multiple tasks efficiently under pressure

Required/ Preferred

  • Cask Cellar/Ales: 3 year (required)
  • Personal Licence (preferred)

Job Type: Full-time

Pay: £28,420.00-£33,490.00 per year
