Job Overview

We are seeking a dedicated and skilled KP/Chef to join our culinary team. The ideal candidate will possess a passion for learning about food preparation and cooking. No experience ia necessary. This role offers an exciting opportunity to learn new skills and develop a career. The successful candidate will demonstrate motivation and the ability to work hard in a team in a highly rated restauran.

Duties

  • Prepare and cook a variety of dishes according to established recipes and standards
  • Assist in the organisation and management of kitchen operations during service periods
  • Ensure all food is prepared in a timely manner, maintaining freshness and presentation standards
  • Maintain cleanliness and organisation of the kitchen area, adhering to health and safety regulations
  • Support with inventory management, including stock rotation and ordering supplies as needed
  • Collaborate with team members to ensure smooth service flow and customer satisfaction
  • Uphold high standards of hygiene, safety, and food quality at all times
  • Washing up and kitchen cleaning is a significant part of this job.

Qualifications

  • Strong organisational skills with the ability to work efficiently under pressure
  • Excellent communication skills and a team-oriented attitude
  • Flexibility to work shifts as required, including evenings and weekends if necessary
  • Relevant culinary qualifications or certifications are advantageous but not essential
