Overview

This role is structured as 2 x 7 hour shifts, including alternate weekends.

There will be opportunity for overtime covering annual leave for other team members

We are seeking a talented and passionate Cook to join our dynamic culinary team. The ideal candidate will possess a strong background in food preparation and kitchen operations, with a keen eye for detail and a dedication to delivering exceptional dining experiences. This role offers an exciting opportunity to showcase your culinary skills in a fast-paced environment, contributing to the creation of delicious dishes that delight our guests.

Duties

  • Prepare and cook a variety of dishes in accordance with established recipes and presentation standards
  • Assist in menu planning and development, incorporating innovative ideas and seasonal ingredients
  • Ensure all food safety and hygiene regulations are strictly adhered to at all times
  • Oversee the organisation of ingredients, kitchen equipment, and workstations for efficient service
  • Collaborate with front-of-house staff to ensure smooth service delivery and guest satisfaction
  • Maintain cleanliness of the kitchen area, including washing up, sanitising surfaces, and waste disposal
  • Monitor stock levels and assist with inventory management to minimise waste and optimise resources
  • Train junior kitchen staff where necessary, fostering a positive team environment
