Job Summary
We are seeking a dedicated Kitchen Porter to join our dynamic hospitality team. The successful candidate will be responsible for maintaining cleanliness and organisation within the kitchen environment, supporting culinary staff, and ensuring smooth kitchen operations. This role offers an excellent opportunity to gain experience in a busy pub/ restaurant, with potential for career development within the hospitality industry.

Duties

  • Wash, clean, and sanitise dishes, utensils, pots, pans, and kitchen equipment to uphold hygiene standards
  • Support chefs and kitchen staff in organising supplies and stock management
  • Maintain cleanliness of work surfaces, floors, and storage areas throughout shifts
  • Dispose of waste responsibly and ensure recycling procedures are followed
  • Ensure all health and safety regulations are adhered to at all times
  • Assist with setting up dining areas and clearing tables as needed during service periods

Skills

  • Familiarity with food safety standards and hygiene practices in hospitality settings
  • Good organisational skills with the ability to prioritise tasks efficiently
