Breakfast Host / Front of House (Part-Time)Location: Near Keswick, Lake District
Hours: Part-Time (18.5 hours per week)
Schedule: 4 mornings per week (Thursday to Sunday)
Start Date: Immediate

The Cottage in the Wood is a unique Michelin-starred restaurant with 8 beautiful boutique bedrooms located just outside Keswick. We operate with a small, close-knit, and friendly team who genuinely take pride in delivering high standards.We are a high-achieving team that strives for the best, but we always keep warmth and hospitality at our core. We are currently growing, making exciting changes, and looking for a like-minded individual to join our "clan"!If you have a passion for professional service and love making people smile in the morning, we would love to meet you.

What You Will DoAs our Breakfast Host, you will be the friendly face that helps our guests start their day perfectly. Your morning will include:

  • Setting up the beautiful restaurant space for breakfast service.
  • Taking orders, crafting delicious coffees, and preparing simple cold breakfast items.
  • Checking out our departing guests with a warm, friendly, and memorable farewell.
  • Closing and cleaning down the service area so it is ready for the next day.

What We Are Looking For

  • Previous experience in a hospitality or customer-facing role.
  • A genuinely warm, friendly, and professional personality.
  • A passion for great service and hospitality.
  • Reliability and a great team-work ethic.
