Full job description

Big ideas. Small details. Your next step.

Trainee Customer Support & Admin Assistant

Finished school or college? Looking for your first office role, or ready to take your career in a new direction? Come and learn, create and grow with us.

We’re SwiftOrder, a fast-growing online ordering platform used by more than 500 shops in the UK. Behind every online menu is a real business with customers to feed and we help make that happen.

We’re looking for someone eager to learn, friendly and keen to get stuck in. You’ll join a fun team in our Bristol office, learn how our platform works and get hands-on with websites, menus, customer support, design and AI tools.

Bring your enthusiasm and an eye for detail. We’ll bring the training.

Things you’ll get to do

  • Help a new shop get ready for its first order. Build its online menu, adding dishes, prices and options so customers can find exactly what they want.
  • Keep menus looking sharp and working properly. Add new items, update prices and carefully check the details before changes go live.
  • Create websites for real businesses. Use our website tools to put together customer sites. Full training is included, and you won’t need to write HTML.
  • Get creative. Help create customer logos and learn how to use our design and AI tools.
  • Get the kit ready. Set up, check, pack and send out the hardware our customers need.
  • Be a friendly voice when someone needs help. Answer questions by phone and instant messaging, solve the things you can and get support from the team when you need it.

There’s everyday admin too: keeping track of your tasks, following instructions and letting people know how things are going. Taking care of those details is a big part of helping our customers succeed.

You don’t need to know it all already

You don’t need previous experience in tech, website building or AI. We can train the right person, and you’ll have colleagues to learn from and ask for help.

We’d love to hear from you if you:

  • Enjoy learning new things and having a go.
  • Are comfortable using a computer and curious about what different tools can do.
  • Like talking to people and are ready to help customers on the phone and through messages.
  • Notice the little things—and will double-check that £12.50 hasn’t become £1.25.
  • Can stay organised, follow instructions and ask questions when something doesn’t make sense.
  • Take feedback on board and enjoy being part of a team.

Worked in a takeaway, café or restaurant? That’s a useful bonus, but it’s absolutely not essential.

Learn skills you can build a career on

You’ll gain practical experience in customer service, digital tools, website creation, design and organisation, with work you can see being used by real customers.

AI is part of how we work, and we’ll show you how to use it well, from helping with creative tasks to checking and improving the results. You bring the judgement and attention to detail; the tools help you get things done.

As your confidence and skills grow, there’s plenty of opportunity to take on more responsibility and develop your career with a growing company.

You’ll also get:

  • Full training on our systems and tools.
  • Support from a fun, friendly team working alongside you in Bristol.
  • A mix of creative, practical and customer-facing work.
  • 28 days’ paid annual leave, including bank holidays, based on a five-day working week.

Sound like your kind of start?

Send your CV and a short introduction to jobs@swiftorder.co.uk. Tell us why the role interests you and something you’ve enjoyed learning or creating-it could be from school, college, work or your own time.

Hours- Expected to be 10am–6pm or 11am–7pm; final hours to be confirmed.

If this would be your first job, we’d still love to hear from you. Give us a sense of who you are and what you’d bring to the team.
