About the Restaurant

Moltobuono! is a family-run Italian restaurant in central Bristol, known for its authentic Neapolitan-style pizzas and traditional Italian cuisine made with high-quality ingredients sourced from Italy.

Job Summary

We are seeking a skilled and passionate Pizza Chef (Pizzaiolo) to join our kitchen team. The ideal candidate will have experience in preparing authentic Italian pizzas, maintaining high food quality standards, and working efficiently in a fast-paced kitchen environment.

Key Responsibilities

  • Prepare and cook a variety of traditional Italian pizzas (e.g., Margherita, Calzone, specialty pizzas)
  • Stretch, top, and bake pizza dough using traditional methods
  • Operate and maintain pizza ovens (wood-fired or stone-based preferred)
  • Ensure consistency in taste, presentation, and portion sizes
  • Maintain high standards of food hygiene and kitchen cleanliness
  • Monitor stock levels and assist with ingredient preparation
  • Work collaboratively with kitchen and front-of-house staff
  • Follow recipes and uphold the restaurant’s authentic Italian standards

Requirements

  • Proven experience as a Pizza Chef or similar role
  • Knowledge of Neapolitan-style pizza preparation techniques
  • Ability to work in a fast-paced, high-volume kitchen
  • Strong attention to detail and passion for Italian cuisine
