Job Summary

*****Part Time job is at East Kilbride shop centre*****
We are seeking enthusiastic and customer-focused Kiosk Staff to join our team. Must have experience The successful candidate will be responsible for providing excellent service, serving cake, making milkshakes and ensuring a clean and welcoming environment. This role offers an opportunity to gain experience in food service within a fast-paced setting, contributing to a positive customer experience.

Responsibilities

  • Prepare and serve food items at the kiosk efficiently and accurately
  • Handle customer orders with professionalism and courtesy
  • Maintain cleanliness and organisation of the kiosk area in accordance with food safety standards
  • Upsell additional products to maximise sales opportunities
  • Manage cash transactions accurately using the point-of-sale system
  • Restock supplies and ensure all equipment is functioning correctly
  • Follow health and safety procedures diligently, including proper food handling and hygiene practices
  • Assist in opening and closing procedures as required

Skills

  • Experience in food preparation or restaurant settings is desirable
  • Knowledge of food safety regulations and best practices
  • Previous serving experience is advantageous
  • Basic maths skills for handling cash and transactions
  • Kitchen or culinary experience will be beneficial
  • Excellent time management skills to handle busy periods efficiently
  • Strong communication skills with a friendly demeanour
  • Ability to upsell products effectively to enhance sales performance

Experience:

  • Bakery and customer service : 2 years (required)
