Job Overview
We are seeking a skilled and passionate artisan Baker to join our team . As a Baker, you will be responsible for creating a variety of baked goods, ensuring high standards of quality and presentation. You will be required to produce a range of artisan breads to a excellent standard. Your creativity and attention to detail will play a vital role in delivering exceptional products that delight our customers. You will encouraged to create fresh new products to keep our farm shop and wholesale customes engaged and happy. You will have the necessary skill and experience to maintain our starter and prepare batches of sourdough products to a consistently high standard.

Duties

  • Prepare and bake a wide range of bread, pastries, cakes, and other baked goods.
  • Preparation of a range of artisan breads including sourdough.
  • Preparation of viennoiserie and laminations.
  • Follow recipes accurately to ensure consistency in taste and presentation.
  • Maintain cleanliness and organisation in the kitchen area, adhering to food safety standards.
  • Monitor inventory levels of baking supplies and assist in ordering as needed.
  • Collaborate with kitchen staff to ensure timely production and delivery of baked items.
  • Conduct regular quality checks on all baked products to maintain high standards.
  • Experiment with new recipes and techniques to enhance the menu offerings.Skills
  • Strong culinary skills with experience in baking and food preparation.
  • Knowledge of food safety regulations and best practices in the kitchen environment.
  • Ability to work efficiently in a fast-paced setting while maintaining attention to detail.
  • Excellent organisational skills to manage multiple tasks effectively.
