Overview

We are seeking a motivated and energetic Kitchen Porter to join our dynamic Brasserie culinary team. This vital role supports the smooth operation of our kitchen by maintaining cleanliness, assisting with food preparation, and ensuring all areas meet high standards of hygiene and safety. Responsibilities

  • Assist with basic food preparation tasks to support chefs during busy service times
  • Maintain cleanliness of kitchen equipment, utensils, work surfaces, and storage areas
  • Ensure all dishes, cookware, and kitchen tools are properly washed, sanitized, and stored
  • Support the team in organizing deliveries and stock management
  • Help with waste disposal and recycling procedures in accordance with health regulations
  • Follow health and safety guidelines diligently to uphold hygiene standards
  • Contribute positively to team efforts to deliver excellent guest experiences

Experience

  • Previous experience in a restaurant or hospitality environment is preferred but not essential; training will be provided
  • Knowledge of food preparation and kitchen hygiene practices is advantageous
  • Experience working in hotels or similar establishments is a plus
  • Familiarity with serving or hospitality roles can enhance your ability to support the team effectively
  • A proactive attitude with strong attention to detail and teamwork skills
