Bakery Assistant – Permanent 16 hour Contract

Location: Avens Retail, 164 Overton Road, Kirkcaldy, KY1 2DY

Avens Retail is looking for a friendly, reliable and motivated Bakery Assistant to join our team on a permanent 16 hour contract. If you enjoy working with food, helping customers, and being part of a supportive local business, we’d love to hear from you!

What You’ll Do

  • Serve customers in a warm, welcoming manner
  • Prepare and serve hot and cold food
  • Make up rolls, paninis, sandwiches etc
  • Keep the bakery area clean, organised and well-stocked
  • Maintain high standards of food hygiene and customer service

What We’re Looking For

  • A positive attitude and willingness to learn
  • Good communication and people skills
  • Ability to work well as part of a team
  • Experience is beneficial but not essential – full training will be provided

What We Offer

  • Permanent 16 hour weekly contract - please note that the shift starting time will be between 05:30 and 09:00
