You will work closely with operational teams, senior leadership, and subject matter experts to develop compelling, compliant, and persuasive submissions that demonstrate our expertise and competitive strengths.

  • Interpret tender requirements and ensure all submissions are fully compliant and submitted on time
  • Tailor responses to reflect client priorities, social value commitments, and company strengths
  • Review tender portals and identify suitable opportunities
  • Support bid strategy development, win themes, and submission planning
  • Proofread and quality-check submissions for accuracy, consistency, and professionalism
  • Monitor bid outcomes and support lessons learned for continuous improvement

RequirementsEssential

  • Proven experience as a Bid Writer, Proposal Writer, or Tender Coordinator
  • Experience within social housing, construction, property services, or maintenance contracting
  • Strong understanding of reactive maintenance, disrepair, damp and mould, voids, or planned works contracts
  • Experience responding to public sector tenders and framework submissions
  • Excellent written English, editing, and proofreading skills
  • Strong attention to detail and ability to manage multiple deadlines
  • Highly organised with strong project management skills
  • Proficient in Microsoft Office, particularly Word, Excel, and PowerPoint

Desirable

  • Experience working with local authority or housing association contracts
  • Knowledge of procurement portals such as Proactis, Delta eSourcing, In-Tend, or Jaggaer
  • Understanding of social value requirements and ESG responses

  • 21 days annual leave plus bank holidays
  • Company pension scheme
  • Life insurance
  • Stable, growing business with long-term career progression opportunities
  • Collaborative and supportive office environment
  • Opportunity to play a key role in business growth and strategic development
