Rhubarb is an award-winning independent restaurant where exceptional food is matched by outstanding drinks and service. We are looking for a passionate and creative Mixologist to lead our bar, delivering beautifully crafted cocktails, premium spirits, and a memorable guest experience.

The Role

As our Mixologist, you will be responsible for the day-to-day running of the bar, ensuring every drink leaving the pass is presented to the highest standard.

You'll be expected to bring creativity, professionalism and energy while maintaining consistency and efficiency during service.

Responsibilities

• Create and serve exceptional classic and signature cocktails
• Maintain high standards of bar organisation and cleanliness
• Develop seasonal cocktail menus and specials
• Manage stock levels, ordering and wastage control
• Ensure spirits, wines and beers are presented and served correctly
• Deliver knowledgeable recommendations and pairings to guests
• Work closely with the kitchen and front of house team to create a seamless dining experience
• Train and support junior bar staff where required
• Maintain all licensing, hygiene and health & safety standards

What We're Looking For

• Previous cocktail bar or mixology experience in a quality venue
• Excellent knowledge of spirits, liqueurs, wines and cocktails
• Passion for hospitality and attention to detail
• Calm under pressure with strong organisational skills
• Friendly, engaging personality with excellent communication
• A creative mindset and willingness to contribute new ideas
• A positive team player with a strong work ethic

Desirable

• Experience in fine dining or premium hospitality
• WSET or spirits qualifications (preferred but not essential)
• Experience creating cocktail menus and managing GP margins

Schedule:

• Wednesday to Sunday
• Evening shifts
• Weekend availability required

Experience:

• Cocktail Bartending/Mixology: 2 years preferred

Work Location: In person, Harrogate
