About the opportunity

This is an opportunity to register your interest in future Risk Assessor roles within regulatory, compliance and risk management. Roles of this type could support organisations in identifying, evaluating and mitigating business, operational and compliance risks across a range of sectors.

You could work with dynamic teams across the UK, contributing to risk management frameworks, regulatory compliance programmes and strategic risk assessments that help organisations navigate complex regulatory landscapes and protect stakeholder interests.

What you would do

Typical responsibilities could include:

  • Conducting risk assessments and analyses across business, operational and regulatory domains
  • Identifying potential risks, vulnerabilities and compliance gaps within business processes and systems
  • Evaluating the likelihood and impact of identified risks to inform mitigation strategies
  • Developing and documenting risk assessment reports and recommendations for senior stakeholders
  • Supporting the implementation of risk controls and monitoring their effectiveness
  • Collaborating with cross-functional teams, including compliance, operations and project management, to integrate risk management into business activities
  • Contributing to the maintenance and improvement of risk management frameworks and policies

What you could bring

Most roles of this type require the following:

  • Bachelor's degree in Business or a related discipline
  • Demonstrable experience in risk assessment, risk analysis or compliance
  • Knowledge of risk management principles, methodologies and frameworks (such as ISO 31000)
  • Familiarity with regulatory requirements and compliance standards relevant to your sector
  • Risk Management Professional (PMI-RMP) certification, or willingness to pursue it
  • Strong analytical and problem-solving skills with the ability to evaluate complex information
  • Clear communication skills and the ability to present risk findings to non-technical stakeholders
  • Proficiency in Microsoft Office and risk management software or tools
