Overview
We are seeking a dedicated and skilled Line Cook to join our culinary team. The ideal candidate will have a passion for food preparation and a strong understanding of kitchen operations. As a Line Cook, you will play a crucial role in delivering high-quality meals to our guests while maintaining the highest standards of food safety and hygiene.

Duties

  • Prepare and cook menu items according to established recipes and standards.
  • Assist in the preparation of ingredients, ensuring all food is fresh and of high quality.
  • Maintain cleanliness and organisation of the kitchen area, including workstations and equipment.
  • Collaborate with other kitchen staff to ensure timely meal preparation and service.
  • Follow all food safety guidelines and regulations to ensure a safe working environment.
  • Help with inventory management, including receiving deliveries and storing food items appropriately.
  • Participate in training sessions to enhance culinary skills and knowledge of kitchen operations.

Skills

  • Proven experience as a cook or in a similar culinary role is preferred.
  • Strong culinary skills with an emphasis on food preparation techniques.
  • Knowledge of kitchen equipment and proper handling procedures.
  • Ability to work efficiently under pressure in a fast-paced environment.
