WMF Default Process Coordinator
Location: RNAS Yeovilton
Salary: Competitive salary plus excellent benefits
Schedule: 38 hours per week
Ready to impact a better future?
As a WMF Default Process Coordinator in our UK and Defence Royal Navy Support team, you’ll help protect the integrity of Aviation Electronic Information Systems and support forward‑fleet organisations to make better use of data. Your work will contribute to safer operations, improved decision‑making, and a positive impact on military aviation communities.
You’ll be part of a team that cares deeply about airworthiness, data quality and innovation — creating impactful solutions that support the Wildcat Maritime Force and help shape the future of digital exploitation across the fleet.
What you’ll do as a WMF Default Process Coordinator
You’ll be entrusted to:
- Create, review and update Default Processes in line with technical publications and Force CAMO requirements.
- Maintain a library of Default Processes and conduct 100% quality assurance checks on all changes made to CIETP relating to the WMF Default Process Library.
- Maintain MERIT databases, email and MODNET files, ensuring safe filing and archiving of Data Integrity and Airworthiness data.
- Provide in‑house training and mentoring on Default Process activities to Squadron and Unit custodians and MERIT colleagues.
- Liaise with Platform Delivery Teams and attend relevant GOLDesp, CAMO and CIETP meetings as directed by Force CAMOs.
- Investigate data integrity issues, progress remedial actions and support technical data exploitation activities.
- Manage and update GOLDesp records, including creation and supervision of SE items in accordance with JAP(D)100A‑0409, CIETP and local instructions.
- Ensure all contracted tasks comply with customer policy, statutory regulations and the Serco Safety Management System, escalating risks and quality issues appropriately.
Does this sound like you?
You’ll be a great fit for this role if you have:
- Experience in a military or industry airworthiness environment.
- Eligibility to meet RA4806 requirements for MAM‑P authorisations.
- A Certificate of Competency to Supervise Aircraft Maintenance (or approved alternative).
- Working knowledge of WRAM Online, EHUDS AEIS and competency in GOLDesp, with relevant supervisor, custodian or coordinator training completed.
- An understanding of airworthiness engineering, regulatory frameworks and compliance requirements, including CAMO practice.
- Strong initiative, drive and the ability to work productively and effectively under pressure while maintaining operational outputs.
Vetting and checks:
This role requires Baseline Personnel Security Standard (BPSS) clearance, which involves verifying your identity, employment history, nationality, and criminal record to meet government security standards. In addition, depending on the nature of the role, you will need to obtain formal Security Clearance (such as CTC or SC), which includes more detailed background checks on employment, criminal record, and financial history to ensure suitability for working in secure environments. Please note that UK residency requirements may apply for certain levels of clearance. You will also complete an Occupational Health Questionnaire so we can identify and provide any support you may need to undertake the role effectively.
