We are seeking a dedicated Kitchen Porter to join our busy culinary team. The successful candidate will play a vital role in maintaining the cleanliness and organisation of the kitchen environment, supporting chefs and kitchen staff to ensure smooth daily operations. Duties

• Washing and sanitising dishes, utensils, pots, and pans to maintain hygiene standards
• Assisting with basic food preparation tasks under supervision
• Supporting the cleaning of kitchen surfaces, appliances, and floors to uphold cleanliness standards
• Restocking supplies and ensuring all kitchen areas are organised and tidy
• Assisting with waste disposal and recycling procedures in line with health and safety regulations
• Supporting the team during busy service periods to ensure efficient operation
• Adhering to all health and safety policies to maintain a safe working environment

Experience

• Previous experience in a restaurant, hotel, or hospitality environment is advantageous but not essential
• Familiarity with food preparation, cooking, or kitchen operations is a plus
• Experience in serving or working within a hospitality setting can be beneficial
• A proactive attitude with a willingness to learn new skills within the culinary industry
• Good organisational skills and attention to detail
• Ability to work efficiently both independently and as part of a team
