Experienced multi-skilled Builder with a range of skills in building extensions (as many aspects as possible for full extension projects). Small / medium developing company, looking for workers willing to help build and grow our concept. Own vehicle and tools required for varied domestic building projects - specialising in domestic extensions. Located mainly in the Leeds and the West Yorkshire region, but also spans to Greater Manchester.

As well as skill in building from foundations upwards, working from architectural plans that are provided via our in-house architect. The majority of our projects are either block/brick or render finish. So a good skillset in both areas would be an advantage, as well as the ability to work within a team or solo. You should be able to work to current Building Control legislation. We are also recruiting for other skills and trades, so multi-skilled applicants are welcome (joinery, plumbing, plastering etc).

Work ranges from dormers and loft conversions, roof works to single and double-story extensions covering all other aspects of building and refurbishment, both domestic and commercial.

Pay: £130.00 - £150.00 per day (CIS / mth) for Blue Jacket (skilled worker) status.

Pay: £170+ for Black Jacket (Senior / Specialist Trade rate)

Must be able to build and maintain good relations with all customers.

Drivers with their own suitable vehicles are essential.

References or portfolio/evidence of completed works are required.

Four and five-day working weeks are available to accommodate different pay levels.

All applicants will be asked to complete a simple 0 to 10 self-assessment, sent after a telephone interview

Starting with a one to two-day trial at a set trial rate (duration is dependent on completed assessment), before agreeing to an ongoing fixed day rate according to your level of expertise as determined by the trial. Opportunities for the right candidate to progress to a senior role overseeing works in progress, as well as being 'on the tools'.

There is also scope for quoting for new works, for which a healthy commission is payable, terms Tbd

We have a tiered pay structure with different rates for apprentices and trainees. Help with application following a successful trial.
