Overview
We are seeking a dedicated and skilled Painter/Labourer to join our team. This role is ideal for individuals who have a passion for painting and a commitment to delivering high-quality workmanship. The successful candidate will be responsible for various painting tasks, ensuring that all work is completed to the highest standards while maintaining a safe and organised work environment.
Duties
- Prepare surfaces for painting .
- Apply paint, varnish, or other finishes using brushes, rollers, or spray equipment.
- Ensure that all painting tasks are completed efficiently and to the required specifications.
- Communicate effectively with team members and supervisors to ensure project timelines are met.
- Maintain tools and equipment in good working condition, reporting any issues as needed.
- Follow health and safety regulations at all times to promote a safe working environment.
- Assist with general labour tasks as required, including moving materials and cleaning work areas.
Requirements
- Proven experience in painting or a related field is preferred but not essential.
- Ability to communicate clearly in English, both verbally and in writing.
- A valid driving licence is advantageous for transportation of materials to various job sites.
- Strong attention to detail and a commitment to producing high-quality work.
- Ability to work independently as well as part of a team.
- Physical stamina and the ability to perform manual labour tasks effectively.
