Sterling Cleaning is an established Northampton based external cleaning specialist.

The role involves all aspects of external cleaning including roof cleaning, Gutter clearing, Gutter and fascia cleaning, Window cleaning, Render cleaning, Pressure washing etc.

We undertake a variety of work at different locations, mostly domestic properties.

The successful candidate should be physically fit and able to work at height, using ladders and scaffold towers when necessary. The candidate must enjoy working outdoors in all weather and be able to work in a team or individually. Communication skills are a must and taking pride in your work is also a must, to keep up our high standards of service and customer satisfaction.

The job is very physical work so any candidate should be fit enough and able to work on your feet all day. Any applicants should also be able to work on their own initiative and be able to problem solve and find solutions to basic problems.

We are looking for someone who would like a career in this industry and not just a pay cheque. Someone who is ambitious, enthusiastic and wants to progress through the pay scale of a growing small business.

You will report to our office in Northampton where each days jobs are allocated, either working in partnership with another member of staff, or individually. When working on your own, all equipment needed will be provided.

Experience is preferred but not essential, as all training and techniques will be given.

Overtime on weekends often available during busiest periods of the year in spring and summer.

The role involves working Monday to Friday 8.30am to 5.30pm.

A full UK driving license is essential with maximum of 3 points, no previous claims or convictions in the last 5 years and not been refused insurance.

Starting salary is £25,400 per year, rising accordingly for the appropriate candidate / previous experience / commitment to helping the business grow.
