Job Overview
We are seeking a skilled and dedicated Plasterer/Supervisor to join our team. The ideal candidate will possess a strong understanding of plastering techniques. This role involves working on various projects, ensuring high-quality finishes and adherence to safety standards.

Duties

  • Apply plaster to walls, ceilings, and other surfaces to create a smooth finish.
  • Prepare surfaces by cleaning and repairing.
  • Use hand tools and power tools effectively to achieve desired results.
  • Work collaboratively with other tradespeople.
  • Perform repairs on existing plasterwork and carry out maintenance tasks as required.
  • Follow safety protocols while working on roofs or elevated surfaces.
  • Maintain a clean and organised work environment throughout the duration of projects.
  • Supervise a small team.
  • Provide excellent customer service.

Requirements

  • Proven experience as a Plasterer or in a similar role within the construction industry.
  • Proficiency in using both hand tools and power tools specific to plastering.
  • Ability to work independently as well as part of a team, demonstrating good communication skills.
  • Physical stamina and strength to perform manual tasks and lift heavy materials when necessary.
