Trainee Exterior Cleaning Technician

Location: Southampton & surrounding areas

Hours: Full-time, Monday to Friday

About the Role:

We’re looking for a motivated, reliable individual to join our growing team at VORTEX EXTERNAL CLEANING UK LTD. This is a hands-on, physical role where you’ll be trained to carry out high-quality exterior cleaning services – including roof cleaning, driveway and patio restoration, pressure washing, and more.

You’ll start by assisting on jobs, learning the ropes and building your skills. After a 3–6 month training period, successful candidates will be given their own van, and move into an independent technician role with a higher pay structure and more responsibility.

Key Responsibilities:

• Assisting with pressure washing, chemical treatments, and moss removal

• Safe use of ladders, pressure washers, and cleaning agents

• Loading/unloading equipment and setting up jobs professionally

• Working outdoors in all weather conditions

• Providing friendly, professional service at customer properties

• Maintaining tools, equipment, and the van to a high standard

• Learning to complete jobs independently and efficiently

Requirements:

• Full UK Driving Licence – Essential

• Physically fit and in good shape – this is an active, physically demanding role

• The right attitude is essential – we’re only interested in people who want to be here

• Punctual, hardworking, and reliable

• Willingness to learn and take direction

• Attention to detail and pride in doing a job properly

• Respectful and presentable – you’ll be representing the company on-site
