We directly employ all our work force and train all employees to become a qualified Roof Tiler with our on the job training scheme. We train all employees in the safe use of power tools and ensure everyone is given the correct safety training in manual handling, working at heights and general site safety.

Job description

Starting responsibility's consist of cleaning up as work is carried out, learning the basics of roofing from a competent roofer, this will include felt and battening, basic tiling, installation of valleys etc.

There is limited experience required to apply as we believe we can provide the necessary training.

Any new starter who show the correct aptitude and a good attitude to work and learn will have the opportunity to be on £12.50 an hour within the first 2 months.

Once an employee has learned the basic to a high standard and within a reasonable time frame, they are given a pay rise to £14.30 per hour and the opportunity to carry out more advanced work with more responsibility, there will be further pay rises to match skills leaned within the trade.

Employees are provided with all relevant PPE and roofing tools required for the job, work vehicles are provided along with all power tools, employees are collected from home each day and dropped off at the end of the working day so employees don't have to worry about arranging their own transportation.
