Overview:

We are looking for a skilled and competent roofer who can work independently or alongside a labourer. As a Roofer, you will be responsible for mainly repairing and maintaining roofs on residential buildings in and around Berkshire. This physically demanding role requires attention to detail and the ability to work at heights.

The successful candidate will be given training and bonus payments depending on the success of the projects, providing an opportunity for growth and learning.

Bonus eligibility after 3 months probation period.

Responsibilities:

• Carry out roof installations, repairs, and maintenance tasks as required
• Utilise hand tools and power tools effectively and safely
• Inspect roofs for damage and leaks and carry out necessary repairs
• Ensure roofs are properly sealed and waterproofed

The position requires proven experience with all aspects of Roofing, namely:

• Pitched and flat roofs, including GRP roofing - on tiled and slated roofs
• All types of roofing repairs
• Installation of new fascias, soffits and guttering
• Gutter repairs
• Lead work
• Gutter cleaning
• Moss removal

Comply and adhere to all Health & Safety regulations

• Conduct yourself appropriately, ensuring the corporate code of conduct and brand guidelines are followed.
• Ensure you maintain accurate job records and communicate all progress to colleagues.

You will have experience working on occupied premises and be able to demonstrate good customer service skills. The ability to use mobile technology is essential.

Due to a requirement to travel within this role, candidates must hold a full driving license.

This role is available on a strictly self-employed basis

Start date - can be immediate.
