- Are you looking for a change ? then look no further as full training will be given.
- The role requires individuals who are capable of working in a team to undertake industrial cleaning and some servicing of a range of ventilation and kitchen extraction systems.
- Use chemical safely whilst carrying out cleaning duties.
- Some working away from home is required. This will be arranged in advance and is usually 1 in 4.
- Starting salary is £27,400 per annum paid monthly. This includes a attendance bonus of £2400 per year. Attendance / Compliance related.
- Normal working hours is 40 hours per week, working 5 nights one week and 4 nights the following week.
- Night working shifts are Sunday through to Thursday nights inclusive.
- A full U.K. Driving Licence is required.
- Due to the nature of the work and kitchen’s needing to be closed, this will mean that the start and finish times vary, so persons need to be flexible with their working hours.
- The position is predominately nights, however occasional day work is required.
- Due to Extraction systems being located outside and on roof’s, working outside is required, in all weathers and all year. Waterproofs will be issued.
- Working at heights is essential, access to Extraction Systems means you will be required to work off hop up steps and fold out ladders as well as climbing vertical ladders to access the roof on some sites.
- Take responsibility for keeping company vehicles clean, fully stocked and ready for use.
- Maintaining good working relationships with colleagues and customers.
- Provide excellent customer service.
- The work we carry out is dirty. You will be expected to access the ducting from steps, scrape out the grease, using scrapers and scoops; the grease can be as thick and sticky like tar. Bucket(s) of grease removed from ducting systems.
- It is very physical work.
- PPE for working on site will be issued at the Induction.
