Full job description

Person required to assist in various cleaning and gardening contract in internal and external areas of commercial and residential properties in Luton and surrounding areas.

Simple grounds maintenance may also be required: grass cutting, weeding and trimming.

Some window cleaning and other types of specialised cleaning will be required - training given where needed.

Essential for this role:

Experience of commercial cleaning - especially office cleaning

Experience of simple grounds maintenance

Flexibility: Depending on the contracts you're assigned to, this may require a mix of early mornings, evenings and day times Mon to Fri.

Physical fitness: This is a highly physical job, necessitating working quickly in all weather conditions as well as moving and operating heavy equipment both indoors and out.

A dynamic and self motivated approach: during the course of a day you may be going from cleaning inside an office to cleaning external windows, to working on a roof, to doing some grounds maintenance. A lot of the time you may be working alone, but at other times as part of a team. You will need to be able to work in a quick efficient manner, and be adept at assessing what needs doing upon arrival at a site, and what the priorities are.

Fluent spoken and written English and high standard of reading comprehension

Able to operate simple smartphone apps, and be communicative over text and on calls.

Full driving licence. Your own vehicle. Dependant on the contracts assigned, you may be given a company vehicle.

Preferred: experience of window cleaning with waterfed pole system and/or working at height.

Training to cover skill gaps will be given. The right candidate will be a quick learner.

Job Types: Full-time, Contract
