Job Summary

The Sales & Business Development Coordinator will support the continued growth of UK Gutter Maintenance by managing sales enquiries, progressing quotations, developing client relationships and identifying opportunities to generate additional revenue.

Whilst a proportion of the role involves progressing enquiries already generated by the Company, the primary objective is to maximise the value of existing client relationships, identify commercially viable opportunities and contribute to the continued growth of the business through proactive business development.

Working closely with the Director and Office Team, the successful candidate will help identify and develop new business opportunities whilst supporting the Company's sales process from initial enquiry through to instruction.

Duties

The Employee's duties will include, but shall not be limited to:

  • Following up outstanding quotations by telephone and email with the aim of maximising quotation conversion.
  • Managing enquiries received through the Company's website, telephone, email and other marketing activities in conjunction with the wider office team.
  • Building and maintaining strong relationships with existing and prospective clients.
  • Identifying opportunities to secure additional sites, buildings and wider property portfolios from existing clients.
  • Following up recommendations identified within completed service reports and surveys.
  • Promoting additional Company services including

Gutter lining systems

Cut edge corrosion treatment

Roof repairs

Gutter repairs

Roof cleaning

Solar panel cleaning

Skylight cleaning

Cladding cleaning

Planned maintenance works

Other remedial works.

  • Researching and approaching prospective customers to generate new business opportunities.
  • Working closely with the Directors to identify, qualify and progress commercially viable business opportunities.
  • Liaising with the Operations Team and Directors to identify opportunities arising from completed works, service reports, customer feedback and existing client relationships.
  • Maintaining accurate customer records within the Company's internal systems.
  • Assisting with tender submissions and supporting the preparation of quotations where required.
  • Providing regular updates to the Director regarding sales activity, opportunities and business development.

Undertaking any other reasonable duties appropriate with the position.

Business Development Incentive Scheme - to be discussed at interview

The Employee's salary covers the duties outlined above, including the management of Company-generated enquiries, quotation follow-ups, customer liaison and general sales administration.

The purpose of this incentive scheme is to reward additional business generated through the Employee's own proactive business development and is intended to encourage the continued growth of UK Gutter Maintenance.

Experience

  • Proven experience in marketing or project management roles, preferably within a B2B environment
  • Strong communication skills in English, with the ability to clearly articulate ideas and strategies
  • Proficiency in Microsoft Office Suite, especially Excel and PowerPoint, for data analysis and presentation development
  • Knowledge of IT systems relevant to marketing tools and platforms
  • Ability to analyze market data effectively to inform decision-making processes
  • Excellent organizational skills with a keen eye for detail and effective time management
