Summary:

We’re seeking a reliable and hardworking Junior Water Hygiene Technician to join our small friendly team. This is a great opportunity for someone starting out in the water hygiene industry or looking to build a technical career with full training and mentoring provided.

Responsibilities:

• Temperature monitoring and routine inspections.
• Water sampling from various outlets.
• Flushing of little-used outlets.
• Cleaning and disinfection of showerheads and hoses.
• Assisting with cold water storage tank cleans and chlorination’s.
• Supporting senior engineers with tasks such as TMV servicing, closed system checks, and calorifier inspections.
• Completing accurate on-site paperwork and reporting.

We are Looking For:

• A positive attitude and willingness to learn.
• Good attention to detail and communication skills.
• Full UK driving licence
• Reliable, punctual, and able to work independently when needed
• Comfortable working in varied environments (plant rooms, roof spaces, schools, etc.)
• Basic IT literacy for completing electronic reports

Qualifications:

• Previous experience in water hygiene or plumbing.
• Knowledge of Legionella control, ACoP L8, HSG274 parts 2 and 3.
• Any relevant training (e.g., Asbestos Awareness, Manual Handling, CSCS card).
