Siphonic drainage is a system used to drain rainwater quickly from large roofs.

Monday to Friday 40 hours per week @ £15.50 per hour.

Your job will include:

Undertaking the Installation/changing of Siphonic RWO’s. Carrying out repairs to existing siphonic systems (i.e. cutting out and replacing blocked pipework/changing flex seal couplers to electrofusion sleeves).

General repair work to inadequate systems (i.e., replacement/additional bracketry). Installation of new ‘supplementary’ secondary systems/overflow ‘spitters’ to out of date projects to bring the overall rainwater protection in line with the current British standards.

General service, unlocking and problem detection of Siphonic Rainwater systems.

Must be flexible with working hours, working away, early starts, late finishes and some weekends as and when required.

Availability to be on call on a rota basis Willingness to learn new skills Good communication and customer service skills

Pride in workmanship and accountability Utilising portable devices to undertake dynamic risk assessments on site and preparing reports on completed works.

The Division

NSS Maintenance are a working at height contractor working throughout UK, servicing facilities management clients and the refurbishment industry alike.

Our national coverage operates from four UK depots to offer planned and reactive building fabric maintenance and refurbishment services to commercial, retail and industrial sectors. We currently employee 500 employees directly across the NSS Group and own a fully serviced truck mounted access fleet, which we use in house for reactive and planned maintenance and cleaning requests
