Avalon Construction is seeking an experienced Roof and Cladding Sprayer to join our team in the Southwest region. The successful candidate will specialize in applying protective coatings, such as H.D. Sharman’s Delcote® and Alltimes Coatings, to metal roofs and cladding systems for commercial and industrial projects.

Key Responsibilities:

• Operate and maintain airless spray machines (e.g., Graco, Titan, or similar) to apply high-performance coatings like Delcote® and other protective sealants.

• Prepare surfaces for spraying, including cleaning, priming, and masking as required.

• Ensure precise application of coatings to achieve a flawless, durable finish that protects against corrosion, weather damage, and delamination.

• Work on a variety of roofing and cladding substrates, including steel and asbestos roofs, ensuring compliance with health and safety regulations.

• Collaborate with project teams to meet deadlines and maintain high-quality standards.

• Conduct post-application inspections to ensure coatings meet manufacturer specifications and client expectations.

• Adhere to strict health and safety protocols, particularly when working with hazardous materials like asbestos.

Requirements:

• Proven experience as a roof and cladding sprayer, with expertise in using airless spray equipment for high-pressure coating applications.

• Familiarity with H.D. Sharman’s products (e.g., Delcote®, Seamsil®) and other industry-standard coatings like Alltimes Coatings.

• Strong understanding of surface preparation and coating application techniques for metal roofs and cladding.

• Ability to work at heights and in varying environmental conditions across the Southwest.

• Knowledge of health and safety regulations, including safe handling of materials and equipment.

• Reliable, professional, and able to work independently or as part of a team.

• Valid driver’s license and willingness to travel within the Southwest region.

• CSCS card or equivalent certification is preferred.

Desirable Skills:

• Experience with Graco King E-Max XT, Mark HD, or similar airless sprayers designed for protective coatings.

• Training in handling and applying coatings to asbestos roofs or other specialized substrates.

• Familiarity with sustainable roof refurbishment systems and their application.
