Duties

  • Measure and prepare roofing surfaces according to project specifications and schematics
  • Install roofing materials such as tiles, slates, shingles, or metal sheets with precision and care
  • Use hand tools, power tools, and fabrication equipment to cut, shape, and secure roofing components
  • Perform heavy lifting of materials and equipment safely to ensure efficient workflow
  • Conduct inspections during and after installation to guarantee quality standards are met
  • Collaborate with team members to coordinate tasks such as carpentry, masonry, plumbing, or welding when necessary for complex roofing systems
  • Follow safety protocols diligently to prevent accidents and ensure a secure work environment
