We are seeking a skilled Commercial Manager to join our team. The ideal candidate will oversee and manage commercial activities, ensuring the company's profitability and growth.

• Responsibilities
• Conduct comprehensive site visits to assess project requirements, scope, and conditions.
• Collaborate closely with clients to understand their needs, offering expert advice, and providing accurate project estimates and proposals.
• Manage the commercial aspects of projects, including cost estimation, budgeting, and financial forecasting.
• Lead negotiations with suppliers, subcontractors, and vendors to secure competitive pricing and favourable terms.
• Supervise the preparation of detailed and accurate quotes, bids, and contracts for roofing and building projects.
• Work closely with project teams to ensure adherence to timelines, budgets, and quality standards.
• Monitor project financials, analyse variances, and implement corrective measures as needed.
• Maintain strong client relationships, addressing concerns and ensuring client satisfaction throughout project lifecycles.

Qualifications

Proven experience as a Commercial Manager or in a similar role

Strong understanding of financial principles and cost control

Excellent communication and negotiation skills

Ability to lead and motivate a team

Education:

• Bachelor's (preferred)
• Experience:
• Surveying: 5 years (preferred)
• Roofing: 3 years (preferred)
• Building Knowledge
• Licence/Certification:
• Driving Licence (required)

We are looking for candidates with:

Experience with flat roofing systems & sheeting work. Someone looking to come off the tools and step into a management role ideally with a degree. Or someone with experience in a management or supervisory role.

Job Type: Full-time

Pay: £38,022.00-£52,134.74 per year
