Trade Recruit is proud to be recruiting on behalf of one of our prestigious clients based in Launceston.

We are seeking an experienced and skilled Roofer to join a growing and reputable roofing team covering projects throughout Devon and Cornwall. This is an excellent opportunity for a roofing professional looking for a secure PAYE position with a company vehicle provided and a varied workload across domestic and commercial roofing projects.

The successful candidate will be confident working on a range of roofing installations, repairs and construction-related roofing works, delivering high-quality workmanship while maintaining excellent health and safety standards at all times.

Key Responsibilities

  • Complete roofing installations, repairs and maintenance works.
  • Carry out all aspects of lead work to a high professional standard.
  • Install, repair and maintain pitched roofing systems.
  • Install, repair and maintain flat roofing systems.
  • Undertake structural and construction-related roofing work as required.
  • Diagnose roofing defects and provide effective repair solutions.
  • Ensure all projects are completed safely, efficiently and to a high standard.
  • Work independently and as part of a wider roofing team.
  • Maintain a clean and safe working environment on site.
  • Liaise professionally with customers, colleagues and site managers.

Requirements

Essential

  • Minimum 5 years' roofing experience.
  • Strong experience in lead work.
  • Proven background working with flat roofs and pitched roofs.
  • Experience in the construction side of roofing, including structural roofing work.
  • Ability to work independently and manage jobs effectively.
  • Own roofing tools.
  • Full UK driving licence.
  • Strong understanding of roofing health and safety requirements.
  • Reliable, professional and customer-focused approach.

Desirable

  • Additional roofing qualifications or certifications.
  • Experience across both domestic and commercial roofing projects.
  • CSCS Card.
