Job Overview
We are seeking a skilled Roofer to join our team. The ideal candidate will have experience in various roofing tasks and possess a strong understanding of construction principles.
Duties
- Fabricate and install roofing materials
- Plumb and align structures to ensure watertight seals
- Build and repair roofs using carpentry skills
- Interpret and follow schematics for roofing projects
- Weld metal components as needed
- Perform masonry work related to roofing
- Utilise power tools for cutting and shaping materials
- Engage in heavy lifting when handling roofing supplies
- Utilise hand tools for precise workmanship
Experience
The successful candidate should ideally have experience in the following areas:
- Fabrication techniques for roofing materials
- Plumbing and aligning structures for proper drainage
- Carpentry skills for roof construction and repair
- Reading and interpreting schematics related to roofing projects
- Welding metal components for roof installations
- Masonry work associated with roofing projects
- Operating power tools efficiently for cutting and shaping tasks
- Ability to handle heavy lifting requirements in a roofing environment
