Job Title: Construction Operative / Roofer

We are looking for a reliable, hardworking, and experienced Construction Operative to join our growing team. The ideal candidate will have previous experience in the construction industry, be comfortable working at height, and be willing to travel and work away from home when required.

Key Responsibilities:

  • Carry out general construction and roofing duties.
  • Work safely on roofs and at height.
  • Follow site health and safety procedures and risk assessments.
  • Work effectively as part of a team to complete projects to a high standard.
  • Travel to different job sites and work away from home when required.
  • Maintain a professional attitude and ensure all work is completed safely and efficiently.

Requirements:

  • A full, valid UK driving licence is essential.
  • Previous experience working in the construction industry is essential.
  • Must be confident and competent working on roofs and at height.
  • Must be willing and able to work away from home when required.
  • A strong work ethic, reliability, and a good attitude are essential.
  • Ability to work independently and as part of a team.
  • CSCS Card

Desirable:

  • SSSTS (Site Supervisor Safety Training Scheme) certification is advantageous but not essential.
  • Previous roofing or working-at-height experience is highly desirable.
