Full job description

Job Summary

Join a roofing team to install, repair and maintain roofs on construction projects. You’ll work outdoors, use tools safely and help deliver durable, weather-resistant finishes.

Duties

  • Install, repair and replace roofing materials, following project plans and safety procedures.
  • Read schematics and measurements to prepare work areas and materials.
  • Use hand tools and power tools for cutting, fixing and finishing.
  • Support related construction tasks, including carpentry, fabrication, welding, plumbing or masonry where appropriate.
  • Lift and position materials safely, working at height with suitable protective equipment.

Your impact: Careful installation and repairs help protect buildings and the people who use them from the weather.

Skills

  • Roofing or construction experience is useful; practical ability and willingness to learn are welcome.
  • Confident, safe use of hand tools and power tools.
  • Ability to interpret schematics and follow instructions.
  • Carpentry, fabrication, welding, plumbing or masonry skills are advantageous.
  • Able to carry out heavy lifting safely and work as part of a team.

Pay: £150.00-£220.00 per day
