Full job description

Trade Recruit is proud to be recruiting on behalf of one of our prestigious clients based in Worthing.

Our client is a leading solar installation company delivering high-quality renewable energy solutions across the region. Due to continued growth and an increasing project pipeline, they are seeking a motivated and enthusiastic Junior Roofer to join their installation team.

This role is ideal for someone with 1-2 years of roofing experience who is looking to develop their skills further while working on a variety of solar installation projects.

Key Responsibilities

  • Assisting with roof preparation and solar panel installation works
  • Working safely at height on domestic and commercial properties
  • Supporting senior roofers and installation teams on site
  • Installing roofing components as required
  • Handling and transporting materials and equipment
  • Ensuring projects are completed to a high standard
  • Adhering to all health and safety regulations on site
  • Maintaining a clean and organised work area

Requirements

Must-Have

  • 1-2 years of roofing experience
  • Own transport and ability to travel directly to sites
  • Own roofing tools
  • Good understanding of roofing practices and site safety
  • Ability to work at height comfortably and safely
  • Strong work ethic, reliability, and positive attitude
  • Ability to work effectively as part of a team

Nice-to-Have

  • Previous experience on solar installation projects
  • CSCS Card
  • Working at Height certification
  • Knowledge of renewable energy systems
