AVT Services are now recruiting for a Multi Skilled Tradesman (2nd man) to work as part of a team for the national installation of infrastructure for mobile telecoms network.

We work nationwide, but the successful candidates must be able to get to our yard in Wigan, weekly.

The suitable candidates will work as part of a two-man team but must be able to work independently and be able to work in conjunction with other contractors at sites.

We are searching for an individual who has experience in one of the following

Joinery

Roofing

Steel installation

Typical workstreams include, but are not limited to:

o Rooftop works

o Opening roofs for support plinth casting and rooftop steel assembly

o Installation of safety handrail

o Installation and testing of fall arrest anchor points to complete fall arrest systems

o Rooftop repair works

o Transferring information from drawings and setting out new sites or new works within existing sites.

o Installation of cable management systems including duct works and gantry / cable tray.

Requirements:

  • Full Driving Licence (up to 3 points)
  • Typical working hours 0800 – 1700 Monday-Friday
  • CIS card preferred

Additional items:

  • Any machinery or plant competences and certifications an advantage.

Remuneration:

  • Excellent daily pay rate and dependent on experience
  • Full Training Provided where required
  • PPE provided
