The Role

Due to continued growth, we are looking for an experienced and motivated Roofing Technician to join our expanding team. This is an excellent opportunity for a skilled roofer who takes pride in delivering first-class workmanship across a variety of roofing projects.

You will be responsible for carrying out roofing installations, repairs, maintenance, and inspections on residential and commercial properties.

Key Responsibilities

  • Perform roof repairs on pitched and flat roofing systems.
  • Install new roofs using a variety of materials including tiles, slates, EPDM rubber, fibreglass, torch-on felt, and liquid roofing systems.
  • Carry out leadwork, cut edge protection, flashing repairs, and weatherproofing works.
  • Install, repair, and maintain fascias, soffits, and guttering systems.
  • Ensure all work is completed to company quality standards and current building regulations.
  • Maintain a safe working environment and adhere to all health and safety procedures.
  • Communicate professionally with customers and colleagues on-site.

RequirementsEssential

  • Proven experience as a roofer or roofing technician.
  • Strong knowledge of pitched and flat roofing systems.
  • Experience working with tiles, slates, leadwork, guttering, fascias, and soffits.
  • Ability to work safely at height.
  • Full UK Driving Licence.
  • Good problem-solving skills and attention to detail.
  • Reliable, professional, and customer-focused approach.

Desirable

  • NVQ Level 2 or 3 in Roofing Occupations.
  • CSCS Card.
  • Experience with EPDM, GRP fibreglass, and liquid roofing systems.
  • First Aid certification.
  • Experience working on both domestic and commercial projects.
